Mixing allows me to dig deeper into the music...
Now it is time to adjust the levels, EQ, compression, panning, maybe add some time based effects and to carve out space so each instrument blend together as a whole.
Stepping back and listening to everything...
A big part of making music is listening to where I am and where I need to go. A good listening area is very important to get the best result, not forgetting to always take a break and rest the ears.
Some final fine tuning....
After some good listening it is now time for some fine-tuning and adjust the levels to get that perfect balance.
